The LG Optimus L9 looks like a SGSII more than a Samsung Galaxy III. And The SGS3 is more appealing in my opinion. It has a more natural and conservative look. The only thing I dislike about the GSIII is the back. The placement of the speaker, camera, and flash is so displeasing. Looked nice until I saw the hardware button.
